Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actress who is best known for her portrayal of Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of the period drama on AMC Mad Men (2007-2015). In addition to receiving critical praise, her work in the series earned her six Emmy Awards nominations in the category of best supporting actor. Her career, which spans over two decades includes appearances on the comedy crime series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. The actress is well known for her performance on Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey At Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. Her voice has been used in animated films, such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. Prior to becoming an actor, she had an established career as a model. The first time she acted was in the role as a character in Beggars and Choosers. Her performance in Firefly which is a movie that was highly acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, was followed. Esquire magazine chose her to be the most attractive woman in the world and the Best-Looking American Woman of the year 2010.
